Later this year, Converse will release a new version of their Chuck Taylor shoe. The images released so far of the new “Chuck Taylor Cup”, show the bold new look to the classic style, including an updated sole. The shoe will be released in both the low and high top versions. The new, contemporary look could possibly draw new fans to the iconic shoe.

Monday, January 11th, 2010sneakernews.com released a “Top 30 Sneakers of 2009” list that is apparently quiet comprehensive amongst staff and sneaker buffs from the website. Though we don’t want to reveal the top 5, Jordan’s were repeated multiple times on the list, along with some of Kanye’s collaborations. We were happy to see the Air Griffey Max on the list and along with the newest installment from Kobe’s signature line with Nike, Nike Zoom Kobe IV. But the rest are definitely worth checking out at:
